Geprägt von Sozialwissenschaften aka Welt- und Selbststudien, Osteopathie aka Körperstudien bin ich hier.
Und kreiere. Und relativiere.
Weil ich glaube, dass Kunst etwas ist, was mensch fühlt.
Dass Kunst etwas ist, was mensch nicht versteht. Dass Kunst etwas ist, was mensch nicht primär studiert.
Dass Kunst etwas ist, was mensch nicht auf Knopfdruck macht.
Sondern, weil Kunst etwas ist, was mensch fühlt.
Nur deshalb bin ich hier.
Möchte für mich lernen, studieren, arbeiten. Möchte mit Menschen lernen, studieren, arbeiten.
Auf welche Art und Weise auch immer.
Es geht um SchaffensProzesse.
Um ScheiterungsProzesse.
Ein Ausblick.
Und Hauptsache ich darf immer weiter blicken, suchen und finden.

Because I believe that art is something that humans feel.
That art is something that humans don’t understand.
That art is something you don’t primarily study.
That art is something that you don’t do at the push of a button.
Because art is something you feel.
That’s the only reason I’m here.
I want to learn, study and work for myself. I want to learn, study and work with people.
In whatever way.
This is about processes full of creation. About processes full of failure.

While the main thing is that I am always able to look, search and find.

Wohnhaft in Köln arbeitet Olina Welge unter dem Namen O.Lina als freie Künstlerin mit den Medien Fotografie und Collage. Und manchmal Kritzelei.
Geprägt von ihren Studiengängen Sozialwissenschaften und Osteopathie beschäftigt sie sich vor allem mit den Themen Körper, Identität und Miteinander.
Ihr Anliegen ist dabei dokumentarisch beobachtend zu visualisieren, motiviert davon, sich selbst und anderen eine Stimme zu geben und mit einem liebevoll kritischen Blick die (Um)Welt wahrzunehmen.
Living in Cologne, Olina Welge works under the name O.Lina as a freelance artist with the media photography, collage and painting.
Influenced by her studies in social sciences and osteopathy, she is primarily working with the themes of body, identity and togetherness.
Her intention is to visualize in a documentary observational way, motivated by the desire to give herself and others a voice and to perceive the (surrounding) world with a lovingly critical eye.
